Tetracaine 0.5% Steri-Units®

Tetracaine 0.5% Ophthalmic Solution Steri-Units® are supplied in 4 mL natural medium- or low-density polyethylene plastic Drop-Tainer® dispensers and are sold in a carton of 12.  

Tetracaine 0.5% is indicated for procedures requiring a rapid and short-acting topical ophthalmic anesthetic with approximately a 15-20 second onset and 15-minute duration.   It is a slightly stronger surface anesthetic than Proparacaine.
